Police investigate home invasion
KANNAPOLIS ó Police are looking for a man who kicked open the door of a home and robbed the residents at gunpoint.
Police report that shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday, a man kicked open the back door of a home at 1726 Furman Court off Lake Concord Road.
Terrina Alvina West and Jerrod Antonio Pearson told police the man was armed with a handgun and took $1,000 in cash.
They also reported the man took three cell phones ó two Motorola Razrs and a Samsung.
Damage to the door and frame was estimated at $400.
