If you are finally ready to lose weight and keep it off, Rowan Regional Medical Center wants to help you understand your surgical weight loss options.
Rowan Regional will host a free seminar with Dr. Roc Bauman of Carolina Weightloss Surgery Center in Concord on Thursday, April 23, at 7 p.m. The seminar will be held in the Clary Classroom on the fourth floor of Tower A at the medical center.
Bauman will describe the laparoscopic procedures available to treat morbid obesity, including adjustable gastric band, vertical sleeve gastrectomy and Roux-en-y gastric bypass. He will also explain who qualifies for weight loss surgery and answer any questions that participants may have.
