Hood hosts annual convocation
Hood Theological Seminary will host the Annual Endowment Convocation on Wednesday evening in the seminary’s multi-purpose room.
Each year, the twelve Episcopal districts of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church send representatives to present donations to the Hood Permanent Endowment Fund.
Most of the sitting bishops will attend and will present donations from their respective districts. Last year, more than $150,000 was brought forth during the convocation.
Bishop Kenneth Monroe, presiding prelate of the South Atlantic Episcopal District, will be the featured speaker.
Hood President Dr. Albert Aymer invites all Zionites to attend this convocation, and “to bring their check books and a generous spirit.”
