Homemade explosive destroys mailbox

Salisbury Police are investigating a blast that destroyed a mailbox on Sycamore Road.
Police reported that Dahn Dang of 206 Sycamore Road was sitting in his home Tuesday night when he heard a loud bang and saw a flash of light outside.
Although he looked outside, he didn’t see anything disturbed. The next morning, Dang found that his mailbox had been damaged.
Police believe someone used an explosive device made from household cleaners.
