The Rowan County Health Department will have a walk-in clinic for seasonal flu vaccinations on Tuesday.
The clinic will be at the Health Department, 1811 E. Innes St., from 1 p.m.-4:45 p.m.
Pneumonia vaccination is also available for those 2 to 64 years of age who are eligible due to high risk medical conditions and those 65 years and older that have not been previously vaccinated.
People are asked to bring a Medicare, Medicaid or insurance cards. It costs $25 for the seasonal flu vaccine and $45 for the pneumonia vaccine.
“We are aware that many providers in our community are out of the seasonal flu vaccine and there are persons still needing the vaccination,” said Nursing Director Sandra Owen.
