Guns stolen from home

Several guns were taken in a home break-in on Old Mocksville Road.
Richard E. Straub told Rowan County Sheriff’s officers the guns were taken between Aug. 15 and Aug. 25.
The guns taken included a Browning 12-gauge shotgun, a Lefeavor 12-gauge, double-barrel shotgun, a .38-caliber snub-nose revolver and a pellet gun. The total value of the guns was estimated at $1,270.
Other reports from the Sheriff’s Office:
– Jimmie Dean Furr of 4060 Richfield Road reported the theft of tools and a Holly carburetor between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Items taken included a Kobalt air compressor. Total value of items taken was put at $1,500.
– Justin Eugene Bell, 18, 414 Heilig Ave., was charged Aug. 25 with felony sale and delivery of a controlled substance.
– Klye Allen Davis, 19, 235 Henderson Drive, Rockwell, was charged with a felony count of maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for controlled substance.
– Tyler Durand Cato, 35, and Stephanie Mitchell Cato, 232 N. Main St., were charged with maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.
