Gray Stone students inducted into National Honor Society

Gray Stone Day School held its fifth annual National Honor Society induction on Oct. 13 in The Henry Pfeiffer Chapel on the campus of Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer.
Parents of the inductees and the entire faculty and student body of Gray Stone Day School attended.
Current members of the National Honor Society, led by President Blair Streater, conducted the candlelight ceremony, focusing on the four cardinal principles of scholarship, leadership, character and service.
Member must have a minimum 4.0 GPA and show evidence of achievement in three other areas.
This year three seniors and 19 juniors were tapped for induction.
The seniors are Kenneth Caspers, Ashley Harrington, and Peter Nasuti.
The juniors are Rachel Bangle, Candace Barnes, Katherine Barrows, Rachel Chambers, Mackenzie Gokey, Abbie Goodman, Gillian Gulledge, Brooke Harward, Cassidy Helms, Olivia Henry, Harrison Latimer, Erika Medlin, Courtney Mullis, Laura Ruble, John Scarboro, Danielle Schroepfer, Sierra Shepherd, Samantha Simon and Eldon Zacek.
Gray Stone’s parent association, the Lance, hosted a reception for the inductees and their families in Goode Hall following the service.
