Garden demonstration at West End Park
Cooperative Extension and Master Gardener volunteers are hosting a Demonstration Field Day at the West End Community Park, Saturday from 9-11 a.m.
The West End Community Garden is on Brenner Avenue near the railroad tracks in Salisbury. This is a horticultural demonstration garden designed and maintained by Extension Master Gardener volunteers.
Featured at the field day will be a perennial border planting, raised bed vegetables, composting demonstration, butterfly garden, shade garden and an Enabling Garden for the physically challenged gardener.
This is an opportunity to ask Master Gardener volunteers and the agent about ongoing demonstrations and vegetable gardening problems.
The field day is free and open to the general public.
Contact Cooperative Extension at 704-216-8970 or online at www.rowanmastergardener.com for more information.
