Garcia is Student of the Month at Erwin
Maria Garcia was recently named Student of the Month at Erwin Middle School for the Cape Hatteras team.
Teachers selected Maria for her academic excellence and improvement, cooperation, attitude and positive relationship with staff and other students.
A member of the Erwin soccer team, Maria participates in Honors Chorus and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
The daughter of Mark and Kathy Williams of Granite Quarry, she hopes to enter the early college program next year.
