Gantt speaks at RCCC

Harvey Gantt, the first African-American mayor of Charlotte, spoke at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College today for a program sponsored by the Rowan-Cabarrus’ Men Inspiring Success Through Education & Role Modeling (MISTER).
The club helps to create supportive relationships among its male minority students and gives them a venue to talk about their issues and challenges. In its second year, MISTER has 37 students on its roster and 12 active members.
