Fundraiser with Avon, Books-A-Million will help troops

Avon, the USO and Books-A-Million are holding a fundraiser to send toiletry kits overseas to men and women serving in the military.
Books-A-Millions customers who mention the Avon/USO Fundraiser at the registers will receive a 10 percent discount on their purchases on Saturday. Books-A-Million will also donate a percentage of those sales to the Avon USO Fundraiser.
District Avon representatives hope to send more than 1,000 toiletry kits overseas to our troops.
The $10 kits contain Avon products. Shoppers may also donate directly to buy a kit.
