KANNAPOLIS ń A fire on South East Avenue was quickly brought under control Friday morning.
At 9:15 a.m. Friday, the Kannapolis Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 303 S. East Ave.
The homeowner called 911 saying that the electrical box was on fire. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find fire coming from the side of the house. The fire was under control in a matter of minutes.
Fire investigators have ruled the cause to be electrical.
