Free vegetables at hospital's Farmer's Market
Rowan Regional Medical Center’s “Healthy Harvest Farmer’s Market” will give away some fresh vegetables today.
The first 50 people who show up at the market will receive two ears of corn for free.
The hospital would like to do something each week to help promote participation and let people know what the market has to offer, said spokeswoman Falon Nye.
The farmer’s market is held every Thursday from 4 p.m. until dusk in parking lot A, between Highland and Mocksville avenues.
