Former NFL player creates 'Guiltless Pleasures'
Former NFL football player Tommy Barnhardt has started a new business.
Barnhardt, a South Rowan High quarterback who later went on to be one of UNC’s best punters ever, had a 14-year career in the NFL, mostly with the New Orleans Saints.
After he retired, Barnhardt became interested in helping those with a sweet tooth find a healthful dessert. He came up with a line of pies called Guiltless Pleasures Desserts, which will soon be marked on the Home Shopping Network.
Read about Barnhardt’s latest venture in Wednesday’s food section.
