Fire destroyed a mobile home early Wednesday off Bringle Ferry Road.
The fire occurred around 5:30 a.m. at 220 Sweet Pea Lane, near Bringle Ferry and Agner roads.
When firefighters arrived, the mobile home was fully engulfed in flame. The renter, whose name was not made available, was at work at the time of the fire.
Fire departments were at the scene until about 9 a.m.
“He lost everything in the fire,” a Liberty fire official said later Wednesday.
In addition to Liberty, the Union and Pooletown fire departments and the Rowan County Rescue Squad responded to the fire.
The cause of the fire had not been released Wednesday evening.
