The Bostian Heights Fire Department will conduct training Saturday that will close Old Concord Road.
The road will close at 7 a.m. and remain closed until mid-afternoon, the department said in a press release.
The closure will affect Old Concord Road to Mount Hope Church Road.
Residents who live in the closed area will have access to their homes with some minor restrictions, and they will be notified individually before the training begins.
In order to avoid the training area, motorists are asked to take a route along Mount Hope Church Road, Pop Stirewalt Road, Glover Road and then back to Old Concord Road.
Motorists approaching from the opposite direction can use the same route or take Yost Road, Webb Road, Safrit Road, Mount Hope Church Road, then return to Old Concord Road.
If drivers do not have to travel through the area, the department encourages them to use an alternate route.
