Fertility practice closing

Fertility specialists of Reproductive Endocrinology Associates of Charlotte will no longer see patients at their Concord clinic at NorthEast Medical Center after May 22.
The practice was in the international spotlight recently when Charlotte clients, Melodie and Chris Biblis, a former leukemia patient who froze his sperm 22 years ago prior to chemotherapy, had their first child, Stella. This was among the longest periods of cryopreservation on medical record.
The practice is led by a team of six physicians who offer assistance for infertile couples and women with reproductive endocrine problems.
“We have been privileged to work with many fine families and staff in Concord. We will still be treating patients from all over the state (and elsewhere) at our central REACH clinic,” said Dr. Nancy Teaff.
