KANNAPOLIS ó Dr. Fran Koster will discuss environmental trends tonight at the N.C. Research Campus.
“Encounters with the Future: Understanding Six Environmental Trends that Impact You, Your Family and Your Profession” begins at 7 p.m. It’s free and open to the public.
Koster, who earned his doctorate at the University of Massachusetts, will speak in the event room on the first floor of the David H. Murdock Core Laboratory Building. He reviews trends that point to health, environmental and energy problems in the future.
He will explore opportunities for educators, researchers and others, and discuss ways to teach leaders how to anticipate and head off undesirable futures.
Koster earned his doctorate from the Program for the Study of the Future at the University of Massachusetts, where he studied various aspects of health, environmental and energy public policy.
Repeated requests for Koster to replicate his earlier seminar at the Research Campus prompted his return visit to the campus.
