Education: RCCC Early Childhood Center accepting applications

The Early Childhood Center at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College has space available and is accepting applications for new students, ages 2-5.
The RCCC Early Childhood Center is a state-certified, five-star day-care program providing quality care for approximately 40 children, ages 2-5.
The program offers educational, social and physical development under the guidance of professionally trained staff in a safe and stimulating environment. The center is located on RCCC’s North Campus in Salisbury.
The center is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuition rates are $125 per week for 2-year-olds and $120 for 2-, 4- and 5-year-olds. The center accepts vouchers from the Department of Social Services, Smart Start Rowan Scholarship Program and Child Care Grants as tuition payments.
For more information, call the center at 704-216-7252 or 704-216-3730. Carolyn Arey serves the center’s director. The center expects 2-year olds to be potty trained before enrolling.
