Hannah Nicole Petrea has won the Randall Gore Memorial Scholarship at East Rowan High School.
Petrea will attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and plans to major in elementary education.
The daughter of Charles and Jayne Petrea, she is a member of Stallings Memorial Baptist Church, the Youth Group president and Children’s Choir assistant.At East, she has been a member of the National Honor Society, SADD, Junior Civitan, FTA and the Honors Chorus and All-County Chorus.The $500 scholarship was established in 1994 in memory of Randall Gore, who was a rising senior at East. It is sponsored by Organ Lutheran Church.
