Drug paraphernalia found during Big Sweep at Eagle Point

Last weekend’s Big Sweep turned up some items of interest to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a Sheriff’s Office report, several items of drug paraphernalia were found on Eagle Point during operation Big Sweep.
Other reports of incidents and charges for Sept. 21:
– Jesse Mac Self of 1155 Needmore Road, Woodleaf reported the theft of a digital camera, iPod and other items from his home.
The break-in occurred between 11 a.m. on Sept. 17 and 11 a.m. on Sept. 21.
– Vandals damaged Jim Sides’ business property at 620 Peach Orchard Road.
Vandals did an estimated $2,000 damage to a cinderblock wall and landscaping.
The damage occurred between Sept. 18 and Sept. 21.
– Robert Gary Mulligan, 120 Dishman Road, Mount Ulla, reported the theft of a 125 cc Yamaha dirt bike from a storage shed between Aug. 8 and Sept. 21.
– Randy Wayne Kee of Mount Pleasant, reported the theft of a tool box and tools valued at $3,600 from a home at 1480 Cannon St., Rockwell.
The theft occurred between Sept. 5 and Sept. 21.
