Drug bust in Rockwell

ROCKWELL ó A complaint about loud music resulted in several people being charged with marijuana and liquor violations.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office also seized one small marijuana plant and a closet growing operation that included grow lights and a sponge with seeds.
Capt. John Sifford said deputies responded to the call Friday evening at 235 Henderson Drive, the residence of Kyle Allen Davis.
Deputies smelled burning marijuana and saw several people smoking marijuana when they entered the house.
Deputies asked for permission to search the house and found the small growing operation in a bedroom closet.
The charges filed are: Kyle Allen Davis, 19, possession of liquor by a minor; Chase Gregory Davis, 16, possession of marijuana, possession of liquor by a minor; Brandon Scott Owens, 21, possession of marijuana, two counts; Dwayne Van Crouch, 20, possession of drug paraphernalia; Ryan Arazie Marcum, 18, possession of marijuana and possession of liquor by a minor.
