DOT working on I-40 in Forsyth County
WINSTON-SALEM ó The N.C. Department of Transportation will begin rehabilitating 4.6 miles of I-40 East in Forsyth County Wednesday.
The project extends from mile marker 182 to 187. Work is scheduled from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., with at least one lane of traffic open at all times.
The $3 million contract was awarded to Yadkin Valley Paving, Inc. of Winston-Salem and is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
