Candidates for Salisbury City Council gathered Wednesday night to voice their opinions on several issues. The forum, held at Catawba College, was sponsored by the college, the Post and the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce.
Twelve candidates are running for council, and a 13th person, Sidney Roberts, has declared himself a write-in candidate. Roberts did not participate in Wednesday’s forum, but all 12 candidates on the ballot did.
The election is Nov. 3. The deadline to register is Friday.
