CONCORD ó Two Charlotte residents died in a wreck Thursday at the intersection of U.S. 29 and Roberta Church Road, the Concord Police Department said.
Salvador Olmos Reyes, 28, of 106 Kingsford Road, Charlotte, and Santos Edgardo Bonilla, of 2846 Whaleys Court, Charlotte, died when the 1992 Nissan in which they were traveling collided with another vehicle around 6 a.m. Thursday.
Reyes was driving the Nissan. Bonilla was a passenger. Concord police released their names Friday night.
The driver of the other vehicle was seriously injured, according to police reports.
Police say there is no indication the use of alcohol or another substance caused the accident.
