'Cold Case' writer has Salisbury connections

Television viewers who watch “Cold Case” this Sunday evening will be watching the work of someone with Salisbury connections.
Erica Anderson, whose mother, Shirley Goodman Anderson, grew up in Salisbury, is one of the writers behind the episode scheduled to run Sunday evening, according to her aunt, Miriam Cowan Hardge of Atlanta.
Erica, who grew up in Charlotte, graduated from Howard University and got her masters of fine arts in dramatic writing at the University of Southern California. She now works for CBS as a writer for “Cold Case.”
