Cleveland receives Eagle Scout award

Richard Alan Cleveland III, 17, son of Chris and Richard Cleveland of Stokes Ferry Road, will receive his Eagle Scout award today at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church.
Tony Waller, Scoutmaster of Troop 333, sponsored by the church, will make the presentation.
Cleveland, a junior at East Rowan High School, has earned 24 merit badges and is troop scribe.
He has earned the Arrow of Light and God and Country awards.
