CHINA GROVE ó Two China Grove men were charged Friday with attempted murder.
The China Grove Police Department charged DeJuan Adkins, 23, of 709 Harry St., and Dolan Allison, 30, of 608 Harry St. with the attempted murder of Dewthey Walker, of Kannapolis.
The two are also charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.Arrest warrants said Adkins and Allison used their hands and fists to beat Walker.
The warrant does not indicate the reason for the altercation. China Grove Police Officer D.P. Walther arrested the two men.
Both were being held in the Rowan County Detention Center without bond.
No other information was available Friday night.
