Chicken show set for Nov. 7 at fairgrounds
The 46th annual Jamboree World Chicken Show will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Rowan County Fairgrounds.
Doors open at 7 a.m.
Similar to a beauty pageant, the chickens have toenails fixed, feathers shampooed and dried with a blow dryer, and then they strut their stuff to show off.
Judges include Andy Barnes from Ohio and Rocky Hughey from Rock Hill, S.C.
Admission is free.
