Blotter: Teen charged with assault with deadly weapon

A 16-year-old was arrested at 232 N. Main St. and charged with assault with a deadly weapon on July 31.
In other reports from Rowan County Sheriff’s Office:
– Rowan County Environmental reported a burglary on July 31 after the recycling center on 3282 Goodnight Road was entered and vandalized.
– Roger Young, 650 Patterson Road, Mooresville, reported an incident of larceny when his pressure washer was stolen from his carport on July 31.
– Robert Long, 275 Callaway Drive, reported a burglary on July 31.
– Roy Tickle reported a burglary at his home, 3525 Linn Ave., on July 31, when more than $1,500 in property was stolen.
– Bobby Mault, 4195 N.C. 152, reported Mault’s Texaco was broken into overnight on Aug. 1.
– Loree Smith, 409 Spring Garden Ave., reported a larceny from a motor vehicle on Aug. 1.
– William Stephens reported a burglary where medication was stolen from 1345 Campbell Road on Aug. 1.
– Jerry Pickler reported larceny from a motor vehicle at 1909 Bankett Ave. on Aug. 1.
– Ricky Wagner, 9085 Castor Road, reported an incident of fraud on Aug. 1.
– Mary Trexler, 5115 Bringle Ferry Road, reported burglary by forced entry on Aug. 2.
– Ruth Newton, 9398 Fisher Road, was arrested for assault on July 31.
– Timothy Josey, 1115 Richfield Road, was arrested for assault on July 31.
– Troy Honeycutt, 168 Red Pine Road, was arrested and charged with assault on July 31.
– John Jackson, 22, was arrested at 115 W. Liberty St., and charged with assault on a female on July 31.
– Carlos Patino, 39, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon at 225 Dunnsview Drive, on July 31.
– Candy Rimer, 34, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering at 272 Tumbleweed Drive on Aug.1.
– Floyd Burns, 26, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance at 14635 Statesville Blvd. on Aug. 1.
– Franklin Williams, 28, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 14635 Statesville Blvd. on Aug. 1.
– Antoine Cherry, 25, was arrested and charged with probation violation at Rowan Correctional on August 2.
– Manuel Rosales, 22, was arrested on charges of domestic criminal trespass at 118 W. Liberty St. on Aug. 2.
– Timothy Beckworth, 21, was arrested and charged with assault on Aug. 2 at 1245 Oakbreeze Drive.
– Travis Gaines, 28, was arrested on charges of non-support of child at 118 W. Liberty St. on Aug. 2.
