Shootings under investigation in city
Salisbury Police are investigating two separate shooting incidents.
Kendrick Xavier Conner was shot in the leg while at 720 Kerr St. around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
Police report that Conner was taken to Rowan Regional Medical center by private car. He was treated and released.
In the second incident, the intended victim escaped injury.
Allen Jerome Gooden reported that two men entered his house Tuesday morning around 3:30 a.m. and shot at him with a pistol.
Gooden was not injured.
Other incidents and arrests reported for Oct. 20:
– A thief or thieves apparently went shopping for yard items on North Main Street Tuesday afternoon.
A bird path was reportedly taken from 1519 N. Main St. and unspecified items were taken from the yard at 1522 N. Main St.
– A 70-year-old woman at Brightmore Nursing Center was the victim of an assault when a family member of another patient shoved her.
– Nekhent Supreme Ali, was charged with felony larceny.
