Blotter: Mooresville excavating business reports theft of equipment

More than $8,000 worth of equipment was reported stolen June 5 from Pedulla Excavating on Shinn Farm Road, Mooresville, according to reports from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
Taken were a lawnmower and vacuum system, a backpack blower, weed trimmers and a sprayer with a total value of $8,820.
In other reports from the Sheriff’s Office:
– Preston Eugene Barnhardt reported guns, cash and watches worth $2,850 stolen from a Ridgecrest Street home in Kannapolis on June 7.
– Robert Ingram reported on June 6 that a plasma TV worth $1,000 was taken from his home on White Crane Road.
– Bill Plemmons RV World on Ritchie Road reported June 5 that someone stole several flatscreen TVs and TV cabinets with a total value of $2,800 from a vehicle.
– Adam Fink reported an unlawful entry at his Walton Road home on June 4.
– Cordarius Marquette Miller reported a burglary June 5 on Poteat Lane.
– Kenneth Lee Wiggins reported a GPS system and car stereo stolen from a motor vehicle June 5 on Castle Keep Road.
– Salisbury Bible Methodist Church reported a break-in June 5 on St. Lukes Church Road.
– Bible Missionary Baptist Church reported a wall safe damaged after a break-in at 11360 Old Concord Road, Rockwell, between May 31 and June 7.
– James Lee Hall reported an armed robbery on Austin Street in Rockwell on June 6. Taken were hydrocodone pills.
– David Alex White reported June 6 receiving a counterfeit $20 bill at 905 Webb Road.
– Jane Ann Reinoso reported June 6 that someone had broken into her home on Hackett Street.
– Kristy Lynn Runk reported June 6 that she had been assaulted at 135 Van Ave., Rockwell.
– Thomas Michael Dubravetz reported a break-in between May 23 and June 6 at 2595 Deal Road, Mooresville.
– Michelle D. Gullette reported a handgun worth $75 stolen between May 26 and June 6 at Oakdale Court, China Grove.
– Allison Marie Thomas reported someone stole a bank card, some medication and her driver’s license from her car on June 7 on West C Street, Kannapolis.
– Terry Sawyer reported a $200 lawnmower stolen June 7 on Eastover Drive.
