East Rowan High School cafeteria fight
Rowan County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a fight in a high school cafeteria and a middle school where a student had knife on campus.
East Rowan High School at 175 St. Lukes Church Road reported a fight in the cafeteria on Sept. 9.
School officials at Southeast Middle School found a pocket knife and marijuana on a student on Sept. 10.
Other incidents and charges reported on Sept. 9: – Jason Ray Hughes, 28, was charged with felony trafficking in heroin.
Other incidents or charges reported on Sep. 10:
– Nazareth Children’s Home reported a juvenile vandalized property.
– Tony Bernard Chambers, 41, was charged with felony breaking and entering of vehicles.
– Diane Elizabeth Foshay, 49, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and distribute.- William Joseph Foshay, 22, was charged with felony trafficking heroin.
