Drill, saw, tools taken from home
A Salisbury resident report the theft of more than $500 worth of tools from his vehicle.
William Todd Gillespie, 225 Montego Lane, reported to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office that the tools were taken between 2 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 19.
Among the items taken were a Bosch drill, Dewalt chop saw, and socket sets. Prescription pills, including Loretabs, were also stolen.
In other reports or arrests from the Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 19:
– Duke Energy reported the theft of a power meter from 700 E. Ritchie Road.
– Deputies serving a 50 -B domestic violence order at 6205 Wright Road removed three guns from the residence.
The guns included a revolver, a shotgun and a 308 rifle.
– Kenneth Ray Adams was charged with malicious conduct by a prisoner.
