Blotter: Cheeseman's break-in investigated

The Rowan Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in at Cheeseman’s General Store, 805 Old Beatty Ford Road. The break-in occurred at 3 a.m. Thursday.
According to a report, items taken included cigarettes and alcoholic beverages.
Reports from the Sheriff’s Office for Oct. 14:
– Barry Alvin Mitchem, of 780 Rainey Road, reported the theft of a truck.
– Jason Glenn Locklear was charged with felony manufacture of a control substance;
– Thomas Anthoney Knights, 17, was charged as a fugitive from justice;
– Nicholas Demetris Cathcart, 29, was charged with manufacture of a control substance.
