Grandparents are John and Betty Atkinson of China Grove and Alfonso and Sandra Felix of Henderson. Great-grandparents are Tommy and Laura Brooks of China Grove and Eugene Hudson of Henderson.
Nariah Ford
A daughter, Nariah Isabella, was born to Elisabeth Anders and Richard Ford of Salisbury on Oct. 9, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Grandparents are Mark and Betsy Anders of Salisbury, Kenneth and Barbara Drake of Greensboro, and Rickar Ford of Fairmont. Great-grandparents are Larry and Mary Frances Ball of Asheville and Thelma Kay of Hendersonville.
Eli Johnson
A son, Eli Gray, was born to Jeremy and Lindsey Rich Johnson of Matthews on Sept. 29, 2009, at Carolinas medical Center-University. He weighed 9 pounds. Grandparents are Curtis and Leslie Rich of Salisbury and Elwood and Theresa Johnson of Tabor City. Great-grandparents are Drucilla Hearn of Salisbury, Andy and Mary Evelyn Rich of Graham, James Williamson of Tabor City and Alberta Johnson of Loris. Lucille Rich of Burlington is great-great-grandparent.
Stephen Hylton
A son, Stephen Worth, was born to Andy and Kim Hylton of Pinnacle on Sept. 29, 2009, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He weighed 9 pounds, 0.6 ounces. He has three brothers, William Huston, 14, Benjamin Wallas, 11 and Samuel Wesley, 5, and two sisters, Jenna Renee, 9, and Elizabeth Ann, 7. Grandparents are Terry and Cathie Westcott of Milan, Ohio, and Bill and Nancy Hilton of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Wallas and Margaret Hylton of Salisbury and John Bostater of Milan, Ohio.
Jenna Thompson
A daughter, Jenna Mae, was born to Billy and Deanna Thompson of Salisbury on Sept. 28, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces. She has a sister, Shelby, 6. Grandparents are Sally and W.L. Thompson, and Doug and Glenda Deal, all of Salisbury, and the late Dorothy Waller. John Deal of Salisbury is great-grandfather.
