ASU graduate
Caroline A. Cruz of Salisbury graduated Dec. 21, 2008, from Appalachian State University with a bachelor of science degree in communications and advertising.
She earned Gamma Beta Phi honors. A 2004 graduate of North Rowan High School, she is working at Barclays Bank as a loan counselor.
Her mother and stepfather are Cheryl and Kevin McDaniel; her father is Jose Cruz.
