The Astronomical Society of Rowan County is holding a star party for the general public at the Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium on Thursday, June 18, at 9:30 p.m.
A rain date has been set for Friday, June 19.
The next monthly meeting of the Astronomical Society of Rowan County is Saturday, June 27. Members will celebratie their 28th year of being an astronomy club.
Weather permitting, the club will be stargazing on the night of the meeting.
