Anti-tobacco group hosts teen day camp

On Thursday the Youth In Action Against Tobacco Council will host a day camp for teens in the 5th-12th grades at the Rowan County Health Department. During the camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., youth will learn about the dangers of tobacco use, secondhand smoke, chewing tobacco and other topics. The training is youth led and very interactive. The camp is free, including lunch and snacks, but registration is required.
