$3 worth of ADD pills stolen

Someone apparently worked hard to get their hands on $3 worth of pills.
Melissa Ann Sechler of Cavin Lane, Kannapolis, reported someone removed a window air conditioner to gain access to her home on Sept. 14.
According to a report from the Rowan Sheriff’s Office, the thief took 17 Focalin capsules, a drug normally used to treat attention deficit disorders.
Other incidents or reports from Sept. 15:
– A deputy on patrol found the front door smashed at Woodleaf BP, 3335 N.C. 801.
The front glass door, valued at $400, was broken.
– Crystal Lynn Miller, 824 N.C. 152, Rockwell, reported the theft of an Echo string trimmer valued at $400.
– Carl Ray Pickler Jr., 1315 Safrit Road, reported the theft of a Edleman lawnmower.
– Mary Kate Basinger, 28, was charged with breaking and entering.
– Clint Allen Fontenot, 20, was charged with felony financial transaction fraud.
