18-year-old charged in armed robbery

Police arrested an 18-year-old Salisbury man Wednesday and charged him with the Nov. 30, 2008, armed robbery of a pizza delivery person.
Gabriel Jamar Brown of 830 W. Bank St. faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill.
A warrant for his arrest was issued Dec. 16, 2008. His first appearance in District Court will be this morning.
Reports said Brown placed a semi-automatic handgun to the head of Ricky Moon on Nov. 30 and stole Moon’s wallet, $18 cash, a $40 cell phone, a $75 Wal-Mart gift card, a $25 Food Lion gift card and four pizzas.
Brown’s bond was set at $100,000. N.T. Sides of the Salisbury Police Department investigated.
