$1,700 worth of electronics taken in break-in

The Rowan Sheriff’s Office is investigating several break-in and thefts including one in Salisbury where over $1,700 worth of electronics and good were taken.
Alexander Cody Ferrell, of 180 Elizabeth Ave., reported a break in at his residence on Oct. 4.
Items taken included: a Playstation 3, four Playstation controllers, a camera, 2 watches including a Rolex. Total value of items taken was put at $1,750.
Other reports of break-ins and thefts:
– Patricia Hummell Erdman, 6535 Long Branch Road, reported the theft of nine rolls of gold dollars and three rolls of quarters. The theft occurred between Sept. 12 and Oct. 3.
– Shannon Mahaley Kilgos, 6390 W. N.C. 152, Mooresville, reported the theft of her dog a female German shepherd, valued at $300, and a red 4-wheeler valued at $3,000.
The theft occurred between Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.
– Ludie Eller, 155 Swink Ave., reported the theft of a Rally lawnmower, valued at $1,600, from her home on Oct. 3.
– Jonathan Nathaniel Gibson, 1099 Gibson Road, reported the theft of a grey 1987 Jeep Cherokee from his home between Oct. 2 and Oct. 3. The vehicle is valued at $500.
