‘Black Friday’ shoppers wait hours for deals

Black Friday shoppers waited in lines at Walmart for nearly five hours to secure a deal for the 5 a.m. sale.
ěThis was my first and last time,î said Salisbury Walmart shopper Kirt Casper, who waited in line for three hours to get a $99 Nintendo DS.
ěIf I donít come home with a pink one, my daughterís going to kill me,î he said.
Old Navy was giving away a free Lego Rock Band game for Nintendo Wii with a $20 purchase.
One of the first people in and out of Old Navy was Brian Thompson of Salisbury.
ěI came to get the Wii game, thatís it,î said Thompson.
Although a lot of shoppers were from Rowan County, some were from as far as Thomasville and Concord.
