Flossie Ward celebrates 100th birthday

Family: She has two sons, L.G. and Pat Hoover, and one daughter, Pat Chaffin. She has 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Until a year ago, she made her home with her daughter Pat and son-in-law Tommy.Church membership: She is a lifelong and current oldest living member of Woodleaf United Methodist Church.Hobbies:
Flossie loved making sugar cookies, apple pies and playing with her little ones. She now enjoys all the various activities at Genesis Healthcare where she lives.
Key to living a long life:
No matter where, Flossie always has a smile and a kind word.
Flossie celebrated her 100th birthday on July 26 with her family at the home of Ben and Karen Russell, her granddaughter.
