Ulises Diaz
A son, Ulises Stephen Jacob, was born to Laura Rincon and Ulises Diaz of Salisbury at Rowan Regional Medical Center on June 26, 2009. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. He has one brother, Jeremy Smith, 21, and two sisters, Desiree Rincon, 13, and Jaleska Diaz, 3 1/2. Grandparents are Maria Castro and Mario Alvarez, both of Mexico City, Mexico, Vickie Stephens of Mocksville, the late Jean Givens and the late Lawrence Stevens. Great-grandparents are Evelyn Jacobs of Salisbury and Grant Stephens of Mocksville.
Colin Masingo
A son, Colin McKee, was born to Annaig and Doug Masingo of Salisbury at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast on July 5, 2009. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. He has one brother, Drew, 4. Ty’ Tiana Clemons
A daughter, Ty’ Tiana Marshae, was born to Christy Kinnaird of Salisbury and Tywann Clemons of Fort Pierce, Fla., at Lexington Memorial Hospital on June 27, 2009. She weighed 6 pounds, 12.5 ounces. She has three brothers, Kolby Smith, 5, of Salisbury, and D’ Wyann Clemons, 12, and Dylan Clemons, 4, of Fort Pierce. Grandparents are Kathy Smith of Salisbury, Thurman Wells Jr. of Faith, and Sheryl Clemons of Fort Pierce. Great-grandparents are John Lee and Dollie Smith of Salisbury, Martha Rae Canup of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Naomi Clemons of Fort Pierce.
