A son, Steven Jones, was born to Latausha Davis and Dorsett Beasley of Salisbury at Lexington Memorial Hospital on June 16, 2009. He weighed 8 pounds, 15.1 ounces. He has two brothers, Elijah Black, 11, and Brian Brown, 7. Grandparents are Sharon and Clifford Wood, and Stephen Dunlap, all of Salisbury, Carrie Beasley of Rocky Mount and Linwood Williams of Norfolk, Va. Great-grandparents are Ella Dunlap and Gene Davis of Salisbury and Gertrude Davis of Charlotte. Great-great grandparent is Narnie Davis of Salisbury.
Ulises Diaz
A son, Ulises Stephen Jacob, was born to Laura Rincon and Ulises Diaz of Salisbury at Rowan Regional Medical Center on June 26, 2009. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. He has one brother, Jeremy Smith, 21, and two sisters, Desiree Rincon, 13, and Jaleska Diaz, 3 1/2. Grandparents are Maria Castro and Mario Alvarez, both of Mexico City, Mexico, Vickie Stephens of Mocksville, the late Jean Givens and the late Lawrence Stevens. Great-grandparents are Evelyn Jacobs of Salisbury and Grant Stephens of Mocksville.
Colin Masingo
A son, Colin McKee, was born to Annaig and Doug Masingo of Salisbury at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast on July 5, 2009. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. He has one brother, Drew, 4. Grandparents are Neil and Annick Nurisso and Steve and Lynn Masingo, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Hilda Eller, Frank and Nancy Masingo, both of Salisbury, and Johnny and Denise Lelonek of Clawson, M.I.
Ty’ Tiana Clemons
A daughter, Ty’ Tiana Marshae, was born to Christy Kinnaird of Salisbury and Tywann Clemons of Fort Pierce, Fla., at Lexington Memorial Hospital on June 27, 2009. She weighed 6 pounds, 12.5 ounces. She has three brothers, Kolby Smith, 5, of Salisbury, and D’ Wyann Clemons, 12, and Dylan Clemons, 4, of Fort Pierce. Grandparents are Kathy Smith of Salisbury, Thurman Wells Jr. of Faith, and Sheryl Clemons of Fort Pierce. Great-grandparents are John Lee and Dollie Smith of Salisbury, Martha Rae Canup of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Naomi Clemons of Fort Pierce.
Elizabeth Furr
A daughter, Elizabeth Raegan, was born to Stacey and William Furr of Richfield at Stanley Regional Medical Center on June 28, 2009. She weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces. Grandparents are Jim and Cindy Pope of China Grove, Sheila Newman of Concord and William Furr of Harrisburg. Great-grandparents are Jack Ramsey of Salisbury, Carmaletha Butler of Albemarle and William Sr. and Verlee Furr of Concord.
Nicholas Kinney
A son, Nicholas Chandler, was born to Melissa and Chad Kinney of Salisbury at Lexington Memorial Hospital on June 30, 2009. He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces. He was one brother, Tyler, 3. Grandparents are Dallas and Deborah Burkhart and Donnie Kinney of Lexington, and Kevin and Netanna Kesler of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Doris Cox of Linwood, June Kinney of Lexington, and Gerald and Judy Correll of China Grove. Great-great-grandparent is Neta Holhouser of Salisbury.
Joseph Barton

A daughter, Elizabeth Mills was born to Tony and Charlotte Kennerly Kellogg of Fort Richardson, Alaska, at Elmendorf Air Force Base Hospital, Anchorage, on June 22, 2009. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. She has one brother, William Spencer Kellogg, 6. Grandparents are Bob and Molly Kennerly of Fayetteville and Keith and Linda Kellogg of Galion, Ohio. Great-grandparents are Robert and Marie Kennerly of Mount Ulla, Robert and Janette Holt of Galion, Lawrence and Myrtle Kellogg of Crossville, Tenn., and William Wetmore of Woodleaf.
