The East-West All-Star football game will be played tonight at Greensboro Grimsley’s Jamieson Stadium.
West Rowan safety Austin Greenwood and Davie running back James Mayfield are members of the West team.
As a prep senior, Greenwood picked off six passes and made 109 tackles for a state championship team.
Former Mooresville head coach Barclay Marsh is an assistant on the West staff. Marsh’s son, Jordan, is a West offensive lineman, while Mooresville running back Jjsuan Pinkston will be in the backfield.Catawba recruits Damien Lee (DL, Reidsville), Michael Priest (LB, North Davidson), Richard Miller (OL, Western Alamance), and Aaron Rainey (FB, Bessemer City) will play for the West. Catawba signee Jumal Rolle (DB, Beddingfield) will play for the East squad.Two Livingstone recruits will line up for the East ó Dorian Edwards (OL, Kinston) and Aliquan Bullock (DB, Southern Durham).
