A daughter, Brinley Belle, was born to Neal and Joy Hiatt of Salisbury on June 4, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces. She has two sisters, Emma, 6, and Neely, 2. Grandparents are C.B. and Janice Barnette of Mt. Ulla and Craig and Ann Hiatt of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Virginia Seal and Norma Hiatt, both of Mt. Airy.
Aidyn Phillips
A son, Aidyn Julius, was born to Sherry LaBarge and Danny Phillips of Kannapolis on June 12, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces. He has one brother, Nolyn,6. Grandparents are Danny and Linda Phillips of Kannapolis and Dale and Isabelle LaBarge of Lyon Mountain, N.Y.
George Bates

A daugter, Mallory Susan, was born to Wesley and Melissa Rhyne of Granite Quarry on June 4, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 15 1/2 ounces. Grandparents are Keith and Sherry Trawick and John and Patricia Rhyne, all of Salisbury, Marc and Susan Clarc of China Grove, and the late Johnny Knight Sr. Great-grandparents are Lucille Crook of Salisbury, Lena Crook of Granite Quarry, Bobby and Ann McClurg of Vincent, Ala. and Bobby and Carol Clark of China Grove. Ila Clark of China Grove is great-great-grandparent.
Nathan Lineberger
A son, Nathan Bostian, was born to Linn and Kevin Lineberger of Kannapolis on May 22, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center, NorthEast. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces. He has a sister, Courtney Lineberger, 5. Grandparents are Donald and Debbie Bostian of Salisbury, Donald Lineberger of Kannapolis, and the late Aileen Lineberger. Madeline Goodman of Salisbury is great-grandparent.
Gavin Davis
A son, Gavin Wyatt, was born to Eric and Tammy Davis of Salisbury on June 5, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center- NorthEast. He weighed 7 pounds, 5.8 ounces. He has two brothers, Dillon, 14, and Hunter, 14. Grandparents are Ricky and Vicky Davis of Salisbury, and Steve and Deborah Weatherford of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Lois Davis of China Grove, and Layton Weatherford and Betty Morgan, both of Kannapolis.
Evan Sheets
A son, Evan Robert, was born to Brent and Amanda Sheets of Beaufort, S.C. on June 3, 2009, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. He has one brother, Owen, 20 months. Grandparents are Richard and Wanda Sheets of China Grove and Bobby and Sharon Grubb of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Dell Sheets of Kannapolis, Odessa Overcash of Mooresville, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grubb of Salisbury.
