Pops at the Post: Publisher welcomes you to Pops

Welcome!
After celebrating our newspaper’s centennial in 2005, we’re now celebrating a new community tradition: the fifth-annual Pops at the Post concert with the Salisbury-Rowan Symphony.
Attendees of our inaugural concert wanted an encore performance, and community leaders and businesses stepped up to make that wish come true.
Maestro David Hagy has once again planned a concert to appeal to a wide audience. Adults and children alike will love hearing what have become our concert standards. This year promises more surprises and another terrific lineup of music.
What better way to enjoy a summer evening than with good friends, good food and good music?
As always, we’ll be honoring area service personnel. I hope you’ll get a chance to see the Army National Guard’s stationary helicopter up close. You’ll also get a chance to check out the Army firetruck and the climbing wall, and be sure to keep your eyes open for a special appearance by our local Blackhawk group.
Again, welcome to the Salisbury Post for Pops at the Post. We look forward to having you with us the evening of June 6.
Thanks for your support, thanks for reading the Salisbury Post and enjoy the show!
