Wearing a Red Sox jersey with No. 100 and “Big Pappy” written on the back, he sat with Boston slugger David Ortiz, who’s known as Big Papi.

Less than 12 hours after the ITF announced that decision, Tennis Australia president Geoff Pollard said his team ó which could have included past Wimbledon and U.S. Open champion Lleyton Hewitt ó would boycott the match.
